Redesigned University Of Tampa Specialty Plate Now Available

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.— The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles is pleased to announce the release of the newly redesigned specialty tag for the University of Tampa, available now to Florida drivers. These new plates are in stock at local tax collector and tag offices, offering Spartans fans an updated way to show their support for the University of Tampa.
The Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles began shipping the plates to offices last week.
The updated specialty plate features the University of Tampa Spartans logo designed with the school’s red and black signature colors.
The cost of the plate is $25 in addition to the state registration fees. Revenue from the sale of the plate goes back to the University to fund academic enhancement activities.
Floridians can now select from 124 specialty plate designs created to support collegiate, environmental, military, sports and wildlife special interest groups, along with 27 special military tags.
